Ka’Ron Barnes

As a senior guard at Cornell University, Ka’Ron averaged an Ivy League best 20.1 ppg, along with 4.6 apg, and 1.9 spg. He was a First Team All-Ivy League selection; the first Cornell player to achieve the honor in seven years. He was also a Second Team NABC All-District II honoree.
ESPN.com Insider deemed his four-year run with the Big Red as "one of the most prolific careers in Cornell history."
Upon graduation, Ka’Ron played professionally in Norway and France. He also spent time with the Buffalo Silverbacks of the American Basketball Association.
Prior to enrolling at Cornell, Ka’Ron led Turner/Carroll High School (New York) to a pair of state titles. He was a four-year letter winner, a two-year team captain, and – as a senior – was named First-Team All-Western New York. He also earned Student-Athlete of Year and Man of the Year honors at Turner/Carroll.
Ka’Ron is currently in the studio production department at ESPN, working with SportsCenter, ESPNews, and other highlight-driven shows.
